How to connect
Connect your league, then ask about it here or in Claude or ChatGPT.
1. Sign in and add your league
Sign in, then open Settings → Add league and pick your platform:
- MyFantasyLeague — your league id. A private league also needs its API key, from your league's MFL page; we store it encrypted.
- Sleeper — your Sleeper username; we list your leagues and you pick one.
- Yahoo — sign in at Yahoo and approve read-only access, then pick your league. We never see your Yahoo password.
2. Add Fantasy Boardroom to your AI assistant
The connector address is https://api.fantasyboardroom.ai/mcp
Claude (Pro and Max; on Team and Enterprise an owner adds it first)
- Open Customize → Connectors.
- Click + and choose Add custom connector.
- Paste the address above and click Add — leave Advanced settings empty.
- Click Connect and approve on the Boardroom page that opens.
ChatGPT (Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu, on the web)
- Open Settings → Security and login and turn on Developer mode.
- Open Plugins, click + and create an app.
- Paste the address above and choose OAuth — leave the client ID and secret empty.
- Sign in and approve on the Boardroom page that opens.
3. What your assistant can ask
- My leagues — The leagues you have connected — the assistant asks this first.
- League rules — Your league's own settings: teams, scoring, lineup, keepers, waivers, deadline.
- My roster — Who you carry at each position, against what you must start.
- Optimal lineup — Your best lineup this week, and who it leaves out and why.
- Waiver targets — Free agents worth claiming, with a bid or a claim order — and, in a Yahoo league, your pending claims.
- Trade targets — Players on rivals' rosters who would upgrade you, and what they could cost.
- Evaluate a trade — Whether a trade you are considering helps you, on your league's values.
- Player outlook — One player's value, injury status and outlook.
- League rosters — Every team's roster in your league.
- Standings — The league table.
- Matchups — This week's scores, or a past week's results.
- League activity — Recent adds, drops, waiver claims and trades.
- Roster alerts — News and injuries affecting your players.
- Manager intel — How each rival drafts, trades and builds a roster.
- Draft plan — Your targets before your league's draft.
- Draft picks — Who owns which draft picks.
- Aging curves — Where your players sit on their position's age curve.
Try asking
- “Who should I start at flex this week in my main league?”
- “Which free agents are worth claiming, and what should I bid?”
- “Would trading my WR2 for their RB1 help me?”
- “Which rivals are selling, and who on their rosters fits my needs?”
- “How has my league's waiver market priced running backs this season?”
- “Who on my roster is past their peak?”
Read-only, and your data
Everything is read-only: neither Fantasy Boardroom nor your assistant can change your league. Your assistant sees only the leagues you connected, and only when you ask. How your data is handled is in the Privacy policy.
